The sustainability of supply chains is building the industry and has been a focal concern for policymakers, stakeholders, and researchers alike. However, literature that comprehensively connects the drivers, practices, and performance outcomes of environmentally sustainable supply chain management (ESSCM) remains limited. This study introduces a holistic ESSCM framework, suggesting that organizations within the construction sector may be influenced by a range of factors—whether driven, pressured, or motivated—to adopt sustainable practices across various phases, including planning and design, procurement, production, distribution and marketing, and reverse logistics. Collaboration is Central to practical implementation, as shared responsibility and teamwork are essential for the construction industry to integrate eco-friendly supply chain practices fully. Such integration, in turn, can yield positive environmental, social, and economic outcomes. This research contributes to the limited knowledge of sustainable supply chain management within construction. It holds practical value for policymakers, industry professionals, and stakeholders, underlining the necessity of joint efforts for a sustainable future.
